We have thousands of thoughts each day, weaving together to create the story we believe about our lives. When we spend a lot of time thinking about our fears and anxieties, these issues become the focal point of our mental story. The longer we've been focusing on these fears, the more deeply ingrained they become. Our fears begin to subtly affect everything we do & our negative beliefs continue to deepen.
Get out of this cycle by observing your behavior and identifying moments when fear gets the best of you. Maybe you aren't speaking up at work because you're afraid of being shut down. Maybe you are avoiding intimate relationships because you're scared of being vulnerable or getting rejected.
Acting out of fear maybe feel safer, but it prevents us from being fulfilled. It keeps us in a negative state and creates a wall between us and all the amazing things we deserve. Start noticing where anxieties creep in, and try acting from a place of love instead of fear. You may start to notice that fear tends to be irrational and things usually work out better than you expect. When you release your fears, you open yourself to countless new opportunities, including the chance to live most authentically.
