Simple and delicious plate to make for breakfast or a snack. Toast with avocado is one of my favorite things to eat. I eat it almost every day and it's still exciting every time I make it ;) Today I spiced it up with chili powder and Sriracha and added a side of cinnamon-chili mangos. My mouth burning like crazy, but I'm trying to eat more spicy foods because they do loads of good things for your body. Chilies contain capsaicin, a compound that gives chilies their kick and is also known to boost metabolism, increase blood flow, prevent cancer, and even stimulate the production of happy hormones like serotonin! Spices are also a great way to add more flavor to "boring" health foods without using salt or sugar. :)
Toast whole-grain bread. Add sliced avocado. Season with olive oil, lemon juice, chili powder & Sriracha. Serve with mango sprinkled with chili powder and cinnamon.
